Spark the Future: Fundraiser Gala
I designed this program booklet for print and hand out at Camp Fire Columbia's 2024 fundraiser gala, Spark the Future. It featured an event program, list of sponsors and donors, auction packages, as well as an annual report and overview of programs run by Camp Fire Columbia. The visual theme was designed to focus on a sustainable future, and nature and our relationship to it, with emphasis on bright colors and organic forms. All visuals were hand-illustrated in Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer

Spark the Future Branding
For the type, I chose an organic and bold typeface with a lot of flexibility in weight and style for headers, Fraunces, and a clean and minimal body text for ease of legibility for paragraphs in a booklet. The client requested the color palette be green and blue for nature, and magenta for humanity. I took a lot of care to figure out a color palette combination that worked harmoniously with enough contrast and balance between warm and cool tones. I chose Fraunces bold italic for the logotype because of its clean and ornate flair, which made it feel playful, modern, and humanist.
Spark the Future Mailers and Social Posts
I designed a postcard invite for sending out to donors to advertise the fundraising gala and RSVP to join. I also designed social media graphics for Facebook and Instagram. All graphics were hand-illustrated in Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer.
